  3. San Diego-based artist August Stein loves 
  4. computer "widgets" such as circuits and chips. His 
  5. illustrations for Artville depict the world of 
  6. technology and industry in a crisp Art Deco-
  7. influenced style. Stein worked on the San Diego 
  8. Zoo's Dinomation exhibit, contributing illustrated 
  9. graphics and images for rubber stamps. His other 
  10. clients include AT&T, Cahner's Publishing Group and 
  11. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Stein's 
  12. work has also appeared in Step-By-Step Electronic 
  13. Design and BYTE.
